You may be aware World Compassion has another 45,000 Bibles ready to send into Iran.
The first 5,000 are already on their way!
Every Bible you provide is a pivotal connection point that has potential to be life changing in one of the most restricted nations to the Gospel on earth. Iran has a 99% Muslim population, and people are hungry to learn the truth about Jesus!
We often say, “It’s more than just a Bible…”, and it is! The moment a Bible is delivered a relationship can be made between the person delivering the Bible and the person receiving it. This moment often leads to an opportunity for the local Christian to more fully share the Gospel, lead someone to Jesus and invite them to a local church.
In Iran, our Bible deliveries are often strategically targeted to people who have requested a Bible from watching an Iranian Christian satellite TV show or people who have reached out on social media platforms requesting a Bible or more information about Jesus.
World Compassion is helping to connect people being reached through digital spaces to the physical church on the ground. The Bible helps create a connection point!
This is possible because of strategic partnerships we have with Iranian church networks and other global ministries.
This is a great picture of the Body of Christ working together to reach an entire nation.
He makes the whole body fit together perfectly. As each part does its own special work, it helps the other parts grow, so that the whole body is healthy and growing and full of love.” (Ephesians 4:16)
You have a special place…a special purpose in this!
When we think about all that is going on around the world, we can feel like we’re not making much of a difference. I struggle with this thought.
I want to remind you today that the devil may want to drop those kinds of thoughts in your mind. He wants to make you think you are insignificant, that you’re not really making a difference or you’re not noticed. Those are lies!
Be encouraged when you give to World Compassion, you’re directly reaching people for Jesus in nations hostile to the Gospel, like Iran.
