My Story
My brother and I lived with our grandmother in a one room house after our mom got very sick. I don’t know where our dad is, because he left us nearly five years ago to remarry. Our grandmother got too old to take care of us, and she told us about the orphanage. There was no one else that would take us in. She said, “This place will be good for you. You will learn scriptures and about God.” Grandmother told us the pastor and his family will give us good discipline here, to help us grow up to be good adults.

And we are! We have good food, and we learn about how much God loves us. I am very happy here. I want to become a doctor just like my older brother Kant Way Tun, so that I can treat my grandma who is sick. I feel sorry for people who are sick, and I want to help them. I believe being here will help me do this, and I will work hard with my study. I praise God’s name that the building will be built quickly so I can live in it. I thank you for the food and clothing. May God bless you.
