You’ve helped introduce people to Jesus and transformed the lives of people living in nations hostile to the Gospel.
We have always said our financial partners are just as much a part of this team as anyone on our staff. This is not just some feel good marketing jargon but truly conveys the heart of the staff and leadership of World Compassion.
We would not be here without people in the Body of Christ, like you, who carry the same conviction to reach people in restricted nations with the Gospel.
You are reaching people like Sam, a 50 year old man from Myanmar with a wife and two children. Just over two years ago he and his wife both attempted suicide but failed. At the time, not only was Sam suffering from some health issues, but he and his family were struggling financially. They reached the point where they decided to take their own lives.
Right near this time Pastor Zaw Oo, one of World Compassion’s former ministry school students in Myanmar, who now pastors in Sam’s area, heard the news and reached out to Sam.
Pastor Zaw Oo was able to minister to them, he shared about Jesus, the gift He is to us and the hope we have through Him. Hearing this pastor talk sparked hope in both Sam and his wife’s heart causing them to pray and give their lives to the Lord! Sam talks about how thankful he is for that moment that changed his life and the lives of his family forever!
This is just one story out of tens of thousands of lives who were impacted by partners of World Compassion in 2024. Here are a few other accomplishments:
12,053 people, in mainly unreached regions, were presented the Gospel through more personalized outreaches in nations restricted to the Gospel.
Over 6,000 people in Iraq received basic medical care who otherwise would not have. 471 refugee women went through our vocational training programs with 267 people giving their lives to Christ in Iraq this year!
In Iran, 218 people gave their lives to God just in our partner church network. 8 new churches were started and 8,000 people were presented the Gospel through our Bible smuggling operation.
7,700 students are currently going through our ABC Discipleship and Leadership curriculum with 3,023 new students this year in Asia!
700 pastors and leaders from Iran, China and Cuba attended one of our pastors and leadership conferences.
As we move forward in 2025 can we count on your support? Your giving continues to train and empower local leaders in nations like Iran, Iraq, China, Myanmar and Cuba.
Just as Paul shared to the Philippian church “Not that I seek the gift, but I seek the fruit that abounds to your account.” The fruit that gets added to your Heavenly account is the lives you transform through your generosity!
First, if you are not already a monthly partner with World Compassion would you consider becoming one? This allows you to be a part of all we do at World Compassion and makes reaching nations hostile to the Gospel a part of your personal mission strategy. You can set this up today using the enclosed insert or at worldcompassion.tv/give.
Second, would you consider a special gift today? We are in the process of kicking off 4,100 new Discipleship and Leadership students between both China and Myanmar.
World Compassion Terry Law Ministries d/b/a World Compassion and its affiliates are not a part of nor associated with Compassion International. Your gift will be used for these projects and many other outreaches of World Compassion.
God has empowered His people, including you, to change the world.
You can help empower a Christian in a nation restricted to the message of Jesus from right where you are.
Your giving is what helps transform the spiritual and physical lives of people around the world.
